How it works: you dissolve the powder in the liquid once, then measure out equal portions from the vial as needed. Strength = powder ÷ liquid; liquid per portion = the amount you want ÷ strength. A portion is sometimes called an aliquot. The maths is the same whatever the compound. See the step-by-step guide. Liquids to mix with: bacteriostatic water · acetic acid 0.6%.

Category: Cell & Ageing Research · Purity 98%+ · -20°C lyophilised · store at 2–8°C once reconstituted.
How to mix NAD+, step by step
- 1
Bring the vial to room temperature
Let the freeze-dried NAD+ vial reach room temperature before opening to avoid condensation.
- 2
Add your liquid slowly
Add your chosen amount of liquid (commonly 1–3 ml) down the inside wall of the vial rather than straight onto the powder.
- 3
Let it dissolve
Swirl gently and let it fully dissolve on its own. Do not shake.
- 4
Read off the strength
The strength is the powder amount divided by the liquid — a 500 mg vial in 2 ml gives 250.00 mg/ml. Use the calculator for any other amounts.
- 5
Store correctly
-20°C lyophilised · store at 2–8°C once reconstituted
