About CJC-1295 (No DAC)
What it is
CJC-1295 without DAC, also called Mod GRF (1-29), is a modified fragment of growth-hormone-releasing hormone. Four amino acid substitutions protect it from the enzyme that rapidly degrades the natural molecule, extending its useful life from minutes to something workable in an experiment.
How it is understood to work
It binds the GHRH receptor on pituitary cells. The "No DAC" distinction matters: the DAC version carries a Drug Affinity Complex that binds serum albumin and extends half-life to days, whereas this one does not, giving a much shorter and sharper profile. Those are meaningfully different research tools and should not be treated as interchangeable.
What research has looked at
Receptor-binding work and pituitary cell culture examining release kinetics.
Handling and storage
Short half-life in solution relative to the DAC form. Reconstitute what you need, keep it cold, and do not expect it to hold indefinitely.
Supplied for in-vitro laboratory research only. Nothing above describes a dose, a protocol, or a use in humans or animals, and none of these compounds is a licensed medicine in the UK.

Research Information
CJC-1295 (No DAC) is a synthetic 30-amino-acid analogue of growth hormone releasing hormone (GHRH), studied for its role in pituitary research. The "No DAC" designation means it lacks the Drug Affinity Complex modification, giving it a shorter half-life and making it a closer reference compound for studying native GHRH activity. Researchers are interested in how it interacts with the GHRH receptor in pituitary cell models and its effects on downstream growth hormone signalling.

Analytical methods
Identity and purity are typically confirmed at source by high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) and mass spectrometry.
Storage and handling
Store lyophilised at -20°C, away from moisture and direct light. Once reconstituted, store at 2–8°C and use within the timeframe specified on the source datasheet.
For Research Use Only. Not for human or veterinary use.
Batch tested
Every batch is tested for identity and purity, and we publish the certificate.
